Room 3 Matjaz

Room 3 Matjaz

Triple bed room | queen and single bed + extra child bed

The legendary King Matjaž had to seek cover with his decimated army in a cave under Mt. Peca. The mountain opened by itself and hid Matjaž from the enemies. In the cave Matjaž sat by the table, other soldiers took seat around him on the floor and all fell asleep. The legend says that when Matjaž’s beard grows nine times around the table, he will wake up. And then in front of his cave a linden tree will grow in the middle of winter that will blossom from midnight untill one o’clock in the morning and then suddenly dry up. At that moment Matjaž and his soldiers will come out, conquer and crush down all of their enemies, chase away injustice and reign Slovenes again.
